A few moments later... Half of team Sweden breaks off at the windward mark to watch, and to tune. That's
Bergstrom/Westerdahl on the far left. It seems that some teams overstood.....

The new Kyrwood hull raffled off at the Worlds. Kyrwood, one of the major sponsors,
provided a new hull that was raffled off. It was won by an Australian. Kyrwood also
provided a discount certificate good for partial payment on a new boat, as a prize to the
oldest hull in the Worlds. 7200 (Ali Meller/Mike Mills) was the SECOND oldest hull
at the Worlds. Four XXXX was a very significant sponsor of this event. Competitors were
happy to be drinking XXXX lager and gold after racing. I believe the 505 class
obliterated any and all bar records during the 18 days.
